APPRAISALS

Our appraisals are an unbiased, supportable estimate of a defined value by one or more of our professional associates who is trained in research and analysis, being knowledgeable of the property being appraised and who will perform in accordance with accepted and professional standards of practice. An appraisal is contained in an Appraisal Report, which is a legal document that describes and values property in a manner that will stand up in court, if necessary.

A formal appraisal from Mid -State consists of:

  • A cover letter
  • A title page
  • A table of contents
  • Main body of the report
  • Glossary
  • Bibliography
  • Appraisers qualifications
  • Annex of selected research

Appraisal fees are established and charged on an hourly basis.

Often times clients may not need a formal appraisal but would like to have an idea of how much their items are worth. We will provide our clients with a letter containing an opinion of value which they can base their financial decisions.

Additionally, Mid -State offers its clients the option to have an organized descriptive and pictorial inventory of their possessions for their organizational needs or for possible future damage. Mid -State Auctioneering can provide such an inventory tailored to the client's specific needs.

In addition, Mid-State offers complete auction services with expertise in real estate auctions, estate settlements, restaurant, business and equipment liquidation, benefit, charity, and fundraising auctions.
